WHAT WE DO
At The Willing Equine our goal is to help people create positive relationships with their horses through science and a deep consideration for the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of both the horse and caregiver.
When we have trust and cooperation, we can do anything and everything together with our horses, from medical care and basic handling to riding and competitive training.
Trust, cooperation, and consideration are the foundations of our training program.
But most of all, we have a relationship that is strong and enjoyable for both participants. A mutually respectful and positive relationship. That is our goal here at TWE, to help you achieve that with your horse.
Whether that's through one-on-one coaching, online courses, or social media, our extensive resources are available freely through our podcast and blog, teaching clinics, virtual coaching and consultation services, or TWE Academy.

And we don't just apply this to horses! It's important to us that human caregivers receive a patient, positive, individualized experience that sets them up for success. It’s this desire for lasting success that inspired the creation of TWE Academy, a community of like-minded equestrians focused on building positive relationships with their horses.

Adele Shaw is an internationally recognized mentor, behavior consultant and trainer focused on creating a positive relationship between horses and humans through science-based training and care practices. This holistic approach examines the horse’s environment, lifestyle, and physical and mental health to ensure that the horses are not simply surviving, but truly thriving in their life and relationship with their human caretakers.
THE HERD
Throughout the years Adele has owned and worked with many horses, and each of them has left a permanent bookmark in her life story with an endless list of lessons they taught, her current herd being no exception. She currently has 7 horses, who each come from unique backgrounds and have so much to give. They can be found living a species-appropriate lifestyle in between enjoying positive reinforcement-based training sessions and starring in educational and inspirational content for TWE Academy members.
